Unlike heavy-duty acne cleansers, the Acne Cleanser is formulated with a lower level of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (BPO) to treat and help prevent acne, while still being gentle enough for daily use.
Beyond tackling breakouts, the dermatologist-designed Acne Cleanser also includes calming ingredients that help balance out the drying effects of benzoyl peroxide.
The star duo? Glycerin, which helps hydrate and soften skin, and allantoin, which helps soothe irritation. How to use: Wash with the Acne Cleanser twice daily, avoiding contact with the eye area.
If you have sensitive or dry skin, start by using the Acne Cleanser just 2-3 times a week to allow your skin to adjust to the benzoyl peroxide.
After cleansing, apply Cream Moisturizer or Gel Moisturizer. In the mornings, follow with SPF 30 Everyday Sunscreen.
